City Campground is a wonderful spot to camp, and everyone close by loves skiing at Mount Southington. All the water falling down from the sky makes Adder Reservoir a wet place; the wettest month of the year is frequently May,
that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. Take a hike on the Mattabesset Trail, and after a long day outdoors Residence Inn By Marriott Meriden is a perfect location to spend a night or two.
Nearby lakes? Sure, Black Pond is close to Adder Reservoir, and Powder Ridge is a nice local ski area. Very great water scenery is available at Adder Reservoir Dam near Adder Reservoir; you'll meet a lot of folks from Hartford-West
Hartford-East Hartford here. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Camels Hump can be spotted from Adder Reservoir; a golf course close by is Miner Hills Golf Course & Driving Range. Wadsworth Falls State Park is worth checking
out if you're at Adder Reservoir, and get soaked paddling on Hammonasset River. So much entertaining stuff to do at Adder Reservoir, so little time. The Mattabesset Trail offers hiking at its best, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Roaring Brook River.
