If you are in this part of Connecticut make sure to pay a visit to Abbott Pond. A beautiful lake like Taft Pond in the neighborhood of Abbott Pond is a pleasant location to take a look at, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Killingly (Dayville), Ct is a nice spot to get some rest. Places like Mashamoquet Brook State Park are fine to pop by, and if you came for an overnight stay Mashamoquet Brook State Park is a great place to camp.

Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Quinebaug River; you'll come across a beautiful lake called Wappaquasset Pond.

Pond. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Abbott Pond. This lake is so wonderful. People from Willimantic love to come to
Abbott Pond; Wolf Den Campground is a splendid campground nearby. Going for a hike along the Walkabout Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and a great nearby hotel is The Inn at Woodstock Hill.

there is a heap already, but it carries on; Abbott Pond has it all. Abington Brook flows through this neighborhood; do pop by Abbott Dam since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Natchaug River, and
if you're a golfer then a nice close by course is Harrisville Golf Course. Abbott Pond regularly gets a lot of precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; February is the month with the least moisture.
