This place, Zimmerman Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. At Joe Wright Dam near Zimmerman Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and there's whitewater on Cache La Poudre River for all you adrenaline people. Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr is a great place to get some rest,       and there are perfect sites to look at along the Blue Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Montgomery Creek is a stream you can have a look at while here. There's so much to do here at Zimmerman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Grand View Campground is a tremendous location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Thunder Pass Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and not far from Zimmerman                  Lake you'll stumble on Joe Wright Reservoir which is a charming lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Zimmerman Lake has to offer, you can camp at Craig Campground; get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Joe Wright Creek. Not much precipitation falls here at Zimmerman Lake; during May this area sees the most rain while January is usually the driest month. Lakes? Summertime highs at Zimmerman Lake usually tend to be in the 70's with night lows in the 30's.
