Summer at Zimmerman Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 30's. The Thunder Pass Trail is a great hiking trail near Zimmerman Lake, and there are other locations here than Zimmerman Lake, for example Joe Wright Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr, and Michigan Lakes is a good lake close by.

Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Craig Campground is a nice place to camp nearby, and get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Joe Wright Creek. Cameron Pass is a nice place to discover. You'll need
more than a day to look at everything Zimmerman Lake has to offer, you can camp at Grand View Campground. Zimmerman Lake gets very little rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is January.

a location this is for outdoors people. Near Zimmerman Lake you locate the Blue Lake Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and a quick journey to Montgomery Creek is certainly a great idea.
