What a nice lake Z K Reservoir is. And that's not all you can do here at Z K Reservoir. If you came for an overnight stay Antone Spring Campground is a perfect site to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Canyon Trails Inn. Z K Reservoir gets very little rain; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February. You can run the rapids of San Miguel River next to Z K Reservoir; if you've had enough of Z K Reservoir,

For the duration of the warm months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Z K Reservoir. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 30's; nighttime lows at Z K Reservoir through the winter frequently descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Z K Spring is a wonderful site to visit while you're at Z K Reservoir, and the good people of Montrose like to hang out close by. And that's not all you can do here in the Uncompahgre Plateau
Mountains. The peak of Coyote Knob can be distinguished from Z K Reservoir; the Paradox Road offers hiking at its best. So much enjoyable stuff in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, just remarkable. Get your pulse rate up on the
tremendous whitewater of San Miguel River; do take a hike on the Spring Creek Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites is a fine location to spend a night or two.
