Bear Mountain is picturesque and can be seen from Yule Lakes, and The Grand Lodge Crested Butte Hotel & Suites is a tremendous location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Bear Basin is a splendid place to stretch your legs a bit; camping is available at Meri-daes RV Park and General Store. Summertime highs at Yule Lakes generally tend to be in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 40's.       The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Yule Lakes through the winter generally plunge into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Trail Riders Trail is magnificent fun, and not far from Yule Lakes you'll discover Galena Lake which is a pretty lake. But wait, there's more to do close to Yule Lakes. A wonderful close by hotel is Eagle's Nest, and if you came for an overnight stay Avery Peak Campground is a splendid                  location to camp. Whitewater paddling is great on Crystal River, and some exciting geology is available here, Chimneys of Treasure Mountain is right here. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Lizard Lake; Irwin Lodge has glorious slopes and a friendly staff. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Lowline Trail. Take a hike on the Munsey Ruby Stock Driveway, and get soaked paddling on Crystal River - North Fork.
