Jeremy: It is a really good 4.9 mile hike, if you want to get a full day of fishing either wake up early and be at the trail head by five in the morning, or you can get a back country permit and stay over night. The fishing here is amazing. The average angler can catch his limit in a couple of hours. You will mostly see colorado cutthroat at an average of 12-14 inches.A wonderful place to fish, I plan on going a couple of times this summer.(Wont be good for fishing til about jun 15 on. Enjoy!
