This lake is so wonderful. Silver Mountain is picturesque and can be distinguished from Yellowstone Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Yellowstone Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Bearadise       Cabins and RV Park is a good spot for that. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Not far from Yellowstone Reservoir you get some glorious water scenery at Yellowstone Dam. After a long day outdoors Knights Inn Walensburg is a nice location to spend a night or two, and Yellowstone Reservoir is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Circle The wagons RV Park is a perfect local campground. Yellowstone Reservoir is                  one of the lakes here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Yellowstone Reservoir is right by the Black Hills Trail; needless to say South Fork Yellowstone Creek is a delightful stream that is worth stopping at. So much fun stuff to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, not sufficient time. The Indian Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and you can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Eldora. Yellowstone Reservoir gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and January is the month with the least moisture. At Yellowstone Reservoir throughout the summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's.
