This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Yellow Lake, you'll find Deer Lake which is a delightful lake; don't leave Yellow Lake without first going for a hike along the Fayville Trail. So much fun stuff right next door to Yellow Lake, absolutely phenomenal. There are delightful locations to look at along the Oyster Lake Trail,       and do set aside some time for Elbow Park since you're here at Yellow Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Glenwood Springs; Glenwood SPGS Golf Club is a magnificent golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Last Chance Trail. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn - Glenwood Springs is a perfect place to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Ute Lake is in the neighborhood. Not much rain falls here at Yellow                  Lake; the month with most of the rain is October while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the duration of the summertime months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Yellow Lake. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Yellow Lake are in the 0's.
