High temperatures at Yates Reservoir during the days of summer are in the 80's; the nighttime is slightly colder of course, usually in the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are ordinarily in the 30's, and overnight lows at Yates Reservoir all through the wintertime mostly descend into the 0's. So much cool stuff to do in       the Sawatch Range, not enough time. Don't forget to take a glorious little trip to Red Creek; a great nearby hotel is Americinn - Eagle, Co. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Yates Reservoir rules! A short trip to Miller Gulch Spring is always worthwhile, and while you're here why not go to Dry Gulch. Yates Reservoir is located in the Sawatch Range. Yates Reservoir is pretty arid usually; during July this area sees the most rain while February is                  mostly the driest month. Hardscrabble Mountain is painless to spot from Yates Reservoir, and Eagle River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Yates Reservoir you can take a hike along the Salt Creek Trail, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express EAGLE is a great site to spend a night or two. If the weather is pleasant here at Yates Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Ironedge Trail, and of course, this is a perfect vicinity for people who like lakes, Hells Hole Reservoir is a lake close by. All the outdoors amusing things next to Yates Reservoir will keep you coming back persistently. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Antone Trail. This lake is so wonderful. At Yates Reservoir you always meet someone from Edwards, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Aspen Highlands. This site, the Sawatch Range, has so much outdoors fun stuff.
