One of the overriding features of the surroundings of Yamcolo Reservoir is Little Flat Tops, and Wood Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Yamcolo Reservoir, you could also pop by close by Rams Horn Lake, and do       stop by Coal Creek since you're here at Yamcolo Reservoir. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great globe it would be. Dry warm beds await you at Oak Tree Inn Yampa; if you came to camp Bucks Campground is a brilliant place to do that. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Yamcolo Reservoir while night lows are commonly in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in                  the 0's to Yamcolo Reservoir. You can take a little tour to Yamcolo Dam while you're here at Yamcolo Reservoir; Yamcolo Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Trapline Campground is a good local campground. Yamcolo Reservoir gets very little rainfall; most of the snow falls during March, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Go for a hike on the Ute Trail; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express EAGLE is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful.
