Wrights Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful. It is very dehydrated here at Wrights Reservoir usually; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Box Canyon is a good spot to spend some time at, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Longwater Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Rule Ridge Trail;

| | if you need a place to stay Country Lodge is a delightful choice. Get drenched paddling on South Platte River; Super 8 Motel - Canon City is a tremendous location to get some rest. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Front Range. If time allows, Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth taking a look at. Lakes? Sure, Mount Pisgah Reservoir is in the neighborhood.

amusing things. There's so much to do here at Wrights Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Lost Burro Campground is a glorious place for that, and a quick visit to Dry Creek is absolutely a delightful idea. During your
tour to Wrights Reservoir you'll meet some folks from Canon City for sure. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Wrights Reservoir reach the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures during
the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Wrights Reservoir all through the winter usually dip into the-10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on South Platte River is so much fun, and you can take a little
trip to Mount Pisgah Dam if you're here at Wrights Reservoir. Any time is a tremendous time at Wrights Reservoir if you fancy the outdoors. If you came to camp Cripple Creek Gold Campground is a wonderful place to do that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Wrights Reservoir; Phantom Creek Trail is a great local trail.
