This lake is one of the great places here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Wright-Brink Reservoir has it all. Stay the night at Bearadise Cabins and RV Park, and do go to J O Smith and Sons Reservoir, it's a wonderful lake. Dry warm beds await you at Circle The Wagons Rv Park, and Wahatoya Creek is in the vicinity of Wright-Brink       Reservoir and is always a diversion to go to. Skiing at Eldora is one of those things you just must do; there's splendid hiking along the Wade Trail. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable stuff to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Very glorious water scenery is available at Wright-Brink Dam right next door to Wright-Brink Reservoir, and there are great places to explore along the Black Hills Trail. For the period of the days of summer, highs frequently are                  in the 80's at Wright-Brink Reservoir. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are generally in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Wright-Brink Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 0's. Wright-Brink Reservoir is pretty dry mostly; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most; January is when it's the driest. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, too wonderful to be true. Circle The wagons RV Resort is a tremendous campground here; if you need a spot to stay La Veta Inn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful.
