The beauty of Woods Lake is reason enough to stop by. So much amusing stuff to do here at Woods Lake, too perfect to be true. There's nice hiking along the Ironedge Trail, and great skiing awaits you at Aspen Highlands. This lake is so wonderful. Near Woods Lake you locate Corral Gulch which is a good site to visit, and why not stop by nearby Crooked Creek while you're here at Woods Lake. come on up to the Sawatch Range. If you go for the outdoors, you'll go for Woods Lake. Skiing at Beaver Creek is one of those things you just have to do, and Crooked Creek Dam is picturesque. This lake is so wonderful. Lime Park
is a great place here at Woods Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Arrowhead Village. Woods Lake gets very little rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest of the months is February. Woods Lake is a magnificent
location to visit for more than one day, Fulford Cave Campground is a magnificent location to camp nearby, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not have a look at Crooked Creek Reservoir. The Sawatch Range scenery is always beautiful.
There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Sawatch Range. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Woods Lake has to offer, you can camp at Elk Wallow Campground, and a delightful lake like Alicia Lake Reservoir is
a brilliant location to take a look at. During the warm days of summer here at Woods Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Woods Lake.

LEDE Reservoir
 | 10 miles away Beautiful drive up to Lede Reservoir. We started in Eagle and took Sylvan Lake road all the way past the lake and then took a right at the first intersection. After climbing up and around the peak in front of us we were upon some huge rolling meadows that were among the forrests. A slight drop down into the valley on the west side of the mountains and a left turn lead us to the reservoir. It is a great spot with some fishing paths around the water and a number of campsites as well. We continued west to Gypsum Creek Road and a short drive back to the town of Gypsum.... |
