For the duration of the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Woods Lake during the wintertime commonly sink into the 0's. And that's not all you can do here in the Sawatch Range. Why not camp at Fulford Cave Campground if you're here at Woods Lake, and Arrowhead Village       is a tremendous location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Eagle River close to Woods Lake; if you need a site to stay The Lodge and Spa at Cordillera is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Lake Charles Trail, and of course, this is a nice region for folks who like lakes, Alicia Lake Reservoir is a lake close at hand. At Woods Lake you don’t see much precipitation; during July this area                  sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Good hiking is available along the Ironedge Trail, and a perfect site like Lime Park here at Woods Lake is too perfect to miss. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area next to Woods Lake has to offer. Get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Fryingpan River, and almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Crooked Creek Reservoir is just a very short distance away. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawatch Range. Just can't get enough of the Sawatch Range. If you came for an overnight stay Elk Wallow Campground is a nice place to camp, and Crooked Creek Dam is not far at all from Woods Lake. Aspen Highlands is a very popular ski area in close proximity; there are plenty of people from Edwards here at Woods Lake. And if that's not enough there's lots more cool stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. And that's not all you can do here at Woods Lake. Beaver Creek has good slopes and a friendly staff, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Crooked Creek.
