This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant close by hotel is Beaver Village Condominiums, and Woodland Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Fourth of July Campground is a great site to camp nearby. Through the days of summer highs here at Woodland Lake get into the 70's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 40's. Daytime       highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and night lows during the wintertime for Woodland Lake tend to be in the 0's. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. A journey to Devils Thumb Pass is always fun, and from Woodland Lake you get a nice vista of Guinn Mountain. Woodland Lake is right by the King Lake Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Clear Creek - West Fork. Man, is there heaps                  of cool stuff to do in the Front Range. Skiing at Winter Park is one of those things you just have to do, and Skyscraper Reservoir is a delightful lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Diamond Lake Trail is brilliant fun, and not far from Woodland Lake you acquire some wonderful water scenery at Skyscraper Dam. Not much precipitation falls here at Woodland Lake; most of the rain falls through August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Woodland Lake is one of the lakes here in the Front Range. Interesting geology is available here; Devils Thumb is in the neighborhood of Woodland Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Woodland Lake has to offer, you can camp at Buckingham Campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff right next door to Woodland Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Devils Thumb Trail. You absolutely should fancy the Front Range. A wonderful lake like Skycraper Reservoir in the vicinity of Woodland Lake is a good site to stop at, and if you come at the right time of year, Boulder Creek offers some great whitewater.   Beaver Village Condominiums, Winter Park 8 miles away Downtown location with stunning mountain views.
