Why not camp at Longmont Koa Kampground since you're here at Wonderland Lake; you can go for a hike on the Bear Peak Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express BOULDER, and let's not forget Gregory Creek which is a stream that you may come across while you're here. Wonderland Lake is typically a rather dry place; May is the month that gets the most rain, and January       is the month with the least moisture. If you need a site to stay Hotel Boulderado is a tremendous choice; Rocky Mountain National Park is a nice national park. So much enjoyable stuff next to Wonderland Lake, definitely fantastic. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Boulder Creek, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Maxwell Lake is just a very short distance away. Mount Sanitas is charming and can be seen from Wonderland Lake, and                  going for a hike on the Green Mountain Trail is always a fine adventure. These mountains rock, just check out all the fun things to do in the Front Range. Flatirons Golf Course is a great golf course nearby; at Wonderland Lake you always meet someone from Boulder. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant spot to camp here at Wonderland Lake is Stone Mountain Lodge and RV Park; close by you hit upon the Saddle Rock Trail which is a great hiking trail. Wonderland Lake is located in the Front Range. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are in fact bountiful here at Wonderland Lake. Fourmile Canyon is a delightful place to explore nearby. For the duration of the warm months at Wonderland Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Wonderland Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
