Take a little trip to Wolverine Creek if you're here at Wolverine Lake; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Howelsen Hill is pretty near. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is delightful at Steamboat, and at Wolverine Lake you can spot The Dome. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Park Range has to offer. CrossTimbers at Steamboat is a good place to get some rest; there is a delightful hiking       trail nearby called the Wyoming Trail. Going for a hike on the North Lake Trail is always a magnificent adventure, naturally you could also stop at North Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Wolverine Lake will keep you coming back time and again. Everybody loves Wolverine Basin, and Summit Lake Campground is a great campground nearby. Having a great time in the Park Range is simple. After a long                  day outdoors Western Lodge is a perfect place to spend a night or two; you can stay the night at Hinman Campground. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Crags Trail, and a lake nearby is Ptarmigan Lake. Not much rainfall falls here at Wolverine Lake; through the month of December you get the most snow around here, and the driest month is August. Having a brilliant time at Wolverine Lake is painless. The Park Range is one of the things that make Wolverine Lake so wonderful, and paddling on Elk River is so much fun. Summertime highs at Wolverine Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's.
