Wolcott Lake is a lake worth visiting. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. You'll meet a lot of people from Denver-Aurora here; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bear Creek. Wolcott Lake is a location that is reasonably dried out ordinarily; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Flying Saucer RV Park, and the Beaver Brook Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. A tremendous place to camp here at Wolcott Lake is South Park Mobile Home Park, and you don’t have to go far from Wolcott Lake to make out the water at Crosley and Westfield Dam. This lake is so wonderful. South Platte River is a magnificent whitewater spot near Wolcott Lake; Residence Inn By Marriott Denver Southwest/Lakewood is a great site to get some rest.

area for people who like lakes. Clairfield Reservoir is a lake nearby, and if you need a place to stay Courtyard By Marriott Denver Southwest/Lakewood is a pleasant choice. Through the summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Wolcott
Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Wolcott Lake tend to be in the 10's. Enjoy a round of golf at Green Gables Country Club
not far from Wolcott Lake, and if you haven’t been to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, you should schedule some time for it while you're here.
