There are plenty of folks from Edwards here at Windsor Lake. Lakes? Sure, Rainbow Lake is in the vicinity. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Sawatch Range is so good! Dry warm beds await you at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, and perfect skiing awaits you at Ski Cooper. Windsor Lake gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls through August,       and February is the month with the least moisture. Summertime highs at Windsor Lake usually tend to be in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Windsor Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Beaver Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay                  Super 8 Motel - Leadville is a tremendous choice; camping is available at Mary Queen Campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawatch Range. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. The Main Range Trail offers hiking at its best, and a pleasant location for whitewater paddling is Lake Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Fryingpan River is a delightful whitewater spot near Windsor Lake; not far from Windsor Lake you'll locate Notch Lake which is a scenic lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Sawatch Range has to offer.
