Many people like to go to Window Lake. The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is always beautiful. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. While you're here at Window Lake, you could also go to striking Upper Fourmile Lake, and close by you come across the Turkey Lake Trail which is a fine hiking trail. These mountains rock, just explore all the amusing things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.

| | There's whitewater on Wolf Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and there are delightful spots to discover along the Rainbow Trail. It is very dry here at Window Lake generally; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while June is commonly the driest month. in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Window Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Rio Grande; going for a hike on the Fourmile Stock Trail is always a tremendous adventure.
There's so much to do here at Window Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Middle Fork Hunter Campground is a great site for that; at Window Lake you can see Sugarloaf Mountain. Dry warm beds await you at Pagosa Lodge; hey,
Gotta ski right? Wolf Creek is a pleasant location to do that. So much fun stuff to do here at Window Lake, too pleasant to be true. Window Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Cimarrona Campground is a brilliant
local campground, and do pop by Monument Lake, it's a charming lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Fairfield Pagosa Resort is a great place to spend a night or two; since you're here, you could have a look at Deadman Creek.

 | 15 miles away I am a very close relative of the land owners for a significant portion of the East Fork. There is a couple of miles of river that is private land. Using the river or the land without authorization is tresspassing and is illegal. I am by no means giving you permission to use it. I am simply stating the facts. The take out after Mesa Canyon is where Trujillo Rd gets close to the river on R Left @ 37. 125988°, -107. 051072°
