Do stop by Window Lake while you're in this part of Colorado. Be careful coming to the San Juan Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. If you need a location to stay Fairfield Pagosa Resort is a wonderful choice, and a brilliant site to camp here at Window Lake is Middle Fork Hunter Campground. Going for a hike on the Rainbow Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and the sight of Sugarloaf Mountain is picturesque. The warmest time of the year

| | brings highs in the 70's to Window Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and night lows at Window Lake during the winter ordinarily descend into the-10's.
A glorious close by hotel is Best Value High Country Lodge, and the Turkey Lake Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Cimarrona Campground if you're here at Window Lake. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Looking for some flowing water? Try Deadman Creek; whitewater paddling is tremendous on Wolf Creek.
Window Lake is a location that is reasonably arid ordinarily; most of the rain falls throughout July, and June is when it's the
driest. That right there is loads of fun stuff already but it goes on, the San Juan Mountains has it all. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Grande. Lakes? Sure,
Monument Lake is close at hand. So much cool stuff to do here at Window Lake, too fine to be true. There is a great hiking trail near Window Lake called the Fourmile Stock Trail, and you can never get enough of the nice skiing at Wolf Creek.
The San Juan Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
