Sun Canyon Ranch is a glorious place to get some rest, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Ormiston Point Stock Driveway. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Ray Motel is a tremendous site to spend a night or two; get yourself into a kayak and hit Dolores River. Don't forget to take a great little journey to North Branch Chico Creek, and do check out Bell Canyon Reservoir, it's a pretty       lake. Wilson Reservoir is pretty waterless typically; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain while June is usually the driest month. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Piney Spring. Summertime highs at Wilson Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 50's.
