Central Branch is a pleasant local stream; going for a hike along the Strawberry Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Pinyon Flats Campground if you're here at Wilson Reservoir, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Cascade Trail. Around Wilson Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and January       meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is located in the wonderful Sangre De Cristo Mountains. So much entertaining stuff near Wilson Reservoir, definitely tremendous. On a brilliant day at Wilson Reservoir you can take a hike along the Huerfano Trail. High temperatures at Wilson Reservoir all through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the                  30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Wilson Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 0's. And that's not everything you can do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Great Sand Dunes Oasis is a wonderful place to camp, and the vistas at Great Sand Dunes National Monument will blow your mind.
