Many people like to go to Willow Lakes. All through the summer here at Willow Lakes, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Willow Lakes dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Park Range. The view of Red Peak from Willow Lakes is delightful, and Red Buffalo Pass is without

| | doubt a fine site to visit. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great world it would be. The Wheeler Dillion Trail offers hiking at its best, and Willow Lakes is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Boulder Creek Campground is a splendid local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Ruby Lake, and get drenched paddling on Tenmile Creek. | |

And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do near Willow Lakes. If you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks. Lakes are fine; Salmon Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Willow Lakes, and
if you came to camp Blue River Campground is a delightful site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid nearby hotel is Silverthorne Days Inn, and you'll probably meet some folks from Silverthorne here. But wait, there's
more fun things to do in the Park Range. Soar down the rapids of Blue River in a kayak; why not take a refreshing hike along the Lily Pad Lake Trail. Willow Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. Take a hike on the Mesa-Cortina
Trail, and the snow is glorious at Copper Mountain. After a long day outdoors Snowshoe Motel is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Breckenridge is rather near. Around Willow Lakes you
don’t get a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls during July, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
