Near Willow Lake you find Buckskin Pass which is a perfect place to stop by, and a magnificent nearby hotel is Laurelwood Condominiums. At Willow Lake you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is August while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend East River, and while you're here you       will meet lots of people from nearby Edwards. Camping at East Maroon Portal Campground is always a fine experience, and after a long day outdoors Village Property Condos is a nice spot to spend a night or two. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do near Willow Lake. Crater Lake is a perfect lake near Willow Lake; there's whitewater on Crystal River - North Fork for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves                  skiing at Aspen Mountain, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Trail Riders Trail. The skiing at Aspen Highlands is great, and Willow Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Maroon Lake Campground is a fine local campground. The Granite Basin Trail is a brilliant hiking trail near Willow Lake. If the weather is fine here at Willow Lake, you can go for a hike along the Blue Creek Trail; from Willow Lake you obtain a tremendous view of Sievers Mountain. Throughout the summertime months at Willow Lake highs are typically in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's.
