While you're here at Willow Lake, you could also check out pretty Hidden Spring Reservoir, and glorious hiking is available along the Ute Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Sweetwater Creek offers some brilliant whitewater, and there are fine locations       to discover along the High Trail. Willow Lake is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Sweetwater Lake Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby, and you can go for a hike on the South Derby Trail. Just can't get enough of Willow Lake. Very fine water scenery is available at Hidden Spring Dam next to Willow Lake; the top of Little Sugarloaf Mountain is easily spotted from Willow Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Anderson Camps LTD is a splendid                  local campground. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Willow Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; nighttime lows at Willow Lake during the winter generally fall into the 0's. Horse Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore; Americinn - Eagle, Co is a good location to get some rest.
