What a nice lake Willow Lake is. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Colorado River; there are other places here than Willow Lake, for example Hidden Spring Reservoir. Not far from Willow Lake you get some nice water scenery at Hidden Spring Dam; if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Eagle, Co is a brilliant choice. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Willow Lake; South Derby Trail is a great local trail, and Americinn - Eagle, Co is a

The Ute Trail offers hiking at its best; if you come at the right time of year, Sweetwater Creek offers some good whitewater. It is very nice to fish from a boat or bank, but I prefer boat....Wife and I where fishing Stagecoach, then we heard of Yamcolo, it was about 20 mins out of Yampa.
