     The beauty of Williams Reservoir attracts many people from all around. Williams Reservoir gets very little rain; during July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. Williams Reservoir is not the only location nearby, Old City Reservoir is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Montrose come to Williams Reservoir, and do put some time aside to spend at Lindsey Spring if you're here at Williams Reservoir.
A tremendous
 
   nearby hotel is Dunton Hot Springs; close by East McKee Draw is a nice spot to go. Any time is a nice time at Williams Reservoir if you like the outdoors. Take a hike on the Cottonwood Trail. There's so much to do here at Williams Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Antone Spring Campground is a splendid spot for that. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Williams Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Miramonte Reservoir Campground,  
               and hiking is a popular thing to do around Williams Reservoir; Telephone Draw Trail is a tremendous local trail.
For the period of the warm days of summer here at Williams Reservoir, high temperatures typically reach the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Williams Reservoir temperatures sink to the 0's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Horsefly Trail, and get soaked paddling on San Miguel River.
