High temperatures at Williams Reservoir throughout the summer are in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Williams Reservoir overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Williams Reservoir is delightful       enough to spend more than a day at, Miramonte Reservoir Campground is a delightful local campground, and you can run the rapids of San Miguel River. Near Williams Reservoir you locate the Cottonwood Trail which is a great hiking trail; nearby you find magnificent spots like East McKee Draw. Old City Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and the Telephone Draw Trail is a great hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Lindsey Spring is a                  great local attraction, and after a long day outdoors Fairmont Franz Klammer Lodge is a fine location to spend a night or two. That right there is loads already, but it goes on; Williams Reservoir has it all. Do take a look at Portis Pond near Williams Reservoir, it's a scenic lake, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Horsefly Trail.
