    Why not stop by Williams Reservoir if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. Burn Canyon is near Williams Reservoir and is a pleasant location, and you can stay the night at Antone Spring Campground. At Williams Reservoir you don’t see much rain; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain, and June on the other hand is the driest.
Don't leave Williams Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Cottonwood Trail;
 
   Miramonte Reservoir Campground is a splendid campground here. Throughout the summertime, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Williams Reservoir. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Williams Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. There's delightful hiking along the Ray Trail, and everyone loves Upper Mailbox Park.

               perhaps meet some folks from Montrose, and paddling on San Miguel River is so much fun. This location is excellent, just look at all the amusing things to do right next door to Williams Reservoir. Go for a hike on the Telephone Draw Trail; if you need a spot to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a delightful choice.
