The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So many cool things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, just mind-boggling. There's tremendous hiking along the Long Ridge Stock Driveway. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are glorious; Trout Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Williams Lakes, and don't leave Williams Lakes without first going       for a hike along the Fern Creek Stock Driveway. Middle Fork Hunter Campground is a splendid campground nearby, and if you come at the right time of year, Rio Grande offers some pleasant whitewater. Williams Lakes truly is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Williams Lakes; Middle Creek Stock Driveway is a wonderful local trail, and a great close by hotel is Whispering Pines Condominums. Life's too short to enjoy                  all the fun stuff in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Cherokee Lake; if you need a spot to stay Fairfield Pagosa Resort is a great choice. At Williams Lakes you don’t see much rainfall; through July this area sees the most rain; June meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Williams Lakes. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 30's.
