There's so much to do here at Whittington Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Wayward wind Mobile Home Park is a great place for that, and after a long day outdoors Clarion Inn Ft. Morgan is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from       Whittington Reservoir you obtain some pleasant water scenery at Whittington Dam, and you could always look at Allan Canyon. Not much rain falls here at Whittington Reservoir; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. All through the long summer days at Whittington Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime                  are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Whittington Reservoir dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Whittington Reservoir is a location with many visitors from Fort Morgan, and since you're here, you could also stop at scenic Lamborn Reservoir Number 2. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Do visit Lamborn Reservoir Number 1 close to Whittington Reservoir, it's a wonderful lake; if the weather is lovely, you acquire a perfect vista of High Hill from Whittington Reservoir.   Clarion Inn Ft.
