Stay the night at Half Moon Campground, and Fall Creek Pass is a good location to spend some time. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is bountiful here in the Sawatch Range. On a delightful day you obtain a vista of Whitney Peak from Whitney Lake, and you'll find a scenic lake called Tuhare Lakes. That right there is loads already, but it keeps on going; Whitney       Lake has it all. A wonderful lake like Lake Constantine right next door to Whitney Lake is a magnificent place to go to. Through the months of summer at Whitney Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Whitney Lake are in the 0's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range. Whitney Lake is pretty                  dehydrated usually; most of the rain falls throughout July while February is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Gold Park Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and there's some flowing water close by, Fancy Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Beaver Creek; Whitney Lake is right by the Main Range Trail. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Sawatch Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Half Moon Trail, and Homestake Condominiums is a brilliant spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Homestake Creek, and hey, Gotta ski right? Vail is a great place to do that. And that's not all you can do here at Whitney Lake.
