If you are traveling by, why not stop by Whitney Lake. Whitney Lake is located in the Sawatch Range. You're perhaps addicted to lakes, Bowl of Tears is one of those nearby, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Vail. So many cool things to do here in the Sawatch Range, too great to be true. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Homestake Creek, and do take a hike on the Main Range Trail.

| | place to spend a night or two, and get drenched paddling on Eagle River. High temperatures at Whitney Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Whitney Lake tend to be in the 0's. Man, is there lots of entertaining stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. Looking for some flowing water? Try Fancy Creek, and a delightful site to camp here at Whitney Lake is Half Moon Campground. Whitney
Lake gets very little precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while February is regularly the driest month. If you need a site to stay Christie Lodge is a fine choice, and Whitney Lake is fine enough
to spend more than a day at, Gold Park Campground is a fine local campground.
Yeah, come here to Whitney Lake for a great time. If you're visiting Whitney Lake from Edwards, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful.
The skiing at Beaver Creek is pleasant, and Fall Creek Pass is another nice place to check out close by. So many cool things to do here at Whitney Lake, too great to be true. At Whitney Lake you can distinguish Whitney Peak; why not take a refreshing hike along the Fall Creek Trail.
