The beauty of Whitney Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more fun things to do here in the Sawatch Range. A pleasant nearby hotel is Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort And Spa, and Fancy Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Whitney Lake.

| | At Whitney Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Whitney Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Whitney Lake. place. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Sawatch Range rules! If you come at the right time of year, Eagle River offers some perfect whitewater, and Gold Park Campground is a tremendous campground here.
Everybody
nearby loves skiing at Vail, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Edwards. Don't leave Whitney Lake without first going for a hike along the Main Range Trail, unsurprisingly you could also take a look at
Lake Constantine if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Beaver Creek is great; if you need a spot to stay The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is a fine choice.
It is very dried up here at Whitney
Lake usually; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Fall Creek Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and drift down the rapids
of Homestake Creek in a kayak. A splendid site to check out near Whitney Lake is Fall Creek Pass, and one of the main traits of the surroundings of Whitney Lake is Whitney Peak.
