Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Whiteford Reservoir is one of them. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful. For the period of the summertime at Whiteford Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 60's while overnight lows are mostly in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Whiteford Reservoir nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. The annual rainfall here at Whiteford Reservoir is about average; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily April, that's the one that snows the most, and June is when it's the driest. during your stay; hiking along the Payne Creek Trail is nice fun.
Camping at Deer Creek Campground is always a magnificent experience; if the weather is wonderful, you get a fine view of Grouse Mountain from Whiteford Reservoir.
And that's not all you can do here at Whiteford Reservoir. Camping is available at Meridian Campground, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Clear Creek. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on
up to the Front Range. While you're here at Whiteford Reservoir you can take a hike along the Brookside-McCurdy Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, South Platte River - North Fork offers some delightful whitewater.
Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is bountiful here in the Front Range. Whiteford Lake Dam is a beautiful place next to Whiteford Reservoir, and Whiteford Reservoir is in close proximity to Brookside Gulch which is certainly worth a visit.
