Whiskers Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Do have a look at Juniata Reservoir in close proximity to Whiskers Pond, it's a scenic lake, and if you need a site to stay Wine Country Inn is a nice choice. Going for a hike on the Spring Camp Trail is always a delightful adventure, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Kannah Creek. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Whiskers Pond descend into the 10's. Pond. Very beautiful scenery and great skiing is what you get at Powderhorn; Guild Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out. Whiskers Pond is generally a reasonably waterless site; October is when you get the most rain
here; the driest month of the year is January. Cliff Lake Dam is a site that is close to Whiskers Pond; on a delightful day you get a good panorama of Reeder Mesa from Whiskers Pond. Kannah Creek has a brilliant whitewater paddling
spot nearby, and Whiskers Pond is a brilliant site to visit for more than one day, Jumbo Reservoir Campground is a brilliant site to camp nearby. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Don’t forget to have a look at Whitewater
Basin since you're here at Whiskers Pond; you can go for a hike on the Coal Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whiskers Pond is not far at all from Grand Junction; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Whitewater Basin
Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Whiskers Pond has to offer, you can camp at Glacier Spring Campground, and Best Western Clifton Inn is a good site to get some rest.
