hike along the Miners Creek Trail. Summertime highs at Wheeler Lakes regularly tend to be in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Wheeler
Lakes dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
Around Wheeler Lakes you don’t get a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. It's a magnificent
idea to stop at Guller Creek, it's right next door to Wheeler Lakes, and the slopes of Breckenridge are so inviting noone can resist.
This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Copper Mountain, and a great nearby hotel is New Village.
