If you come at the right time of year, South Platte River offers some perfect whitewater, and Towneplace Suites By Marriott Denver Southwest is a pleasant place to get some rest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Westcreek Lake. All year is a great time in the Front Range if you love the outdoors. Trail Creek Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and the Rule Creek Trail offers       hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of South Platte River in a kayak, and why not take a refreshing hike along the South Manitou Park Trail. Not much rain falls here at Westcreek Lake; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most; January is when it's the driest. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Front Range. Bell Rock is trouble-free to spot from Westcreek Lake,                  and hey, Trail Creek is a good local stream. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Country Lodge, and do pay a visit to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument while you're here at Westcreek Lake. J O Hill Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and do take a hike on the Rule Ridge Trail. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Westcreek Lake. Shrewsbury Gulch is in the neighborhood of Westcreek Lake and is unquestionably a nice place to go to, and you can stay the night at Big Turkey Campground. Westcreek Lake is located in the Front Range. You don’t have to go far from Westcreek Lake to catch a sight of the water at West Creek Dam, and a lake nearby is Manitou Park Lake. Through the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Westcreek Lake, and the night is a little chillier of course, frequently in the 40's.
