South Platte River is a brilliant whitewater spot near Westcreek Lake, and after a long day outdoors Country Lodge is a great site to spend a night or two. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. The Rule Ridge Trail is a delightful hiking trail near Westcreek Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Trail Creek is a good local stream, and if the weather is pleasant,       you can go for a hike along the South Manitou Park Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Westcreek Lake is fine fun, Horse Creek Campground is a fine local campground, and good water scenery is available at West Creek Dam near Westcreek Lake. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on South Platte River; if you have the time, Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth going to. You just must                  love the Front Range. You can catch a glimpse of Bell Rock from Westcreek Lake, and Shrewsbury Gulch is another fine location to take a look at nearby. Westcreek Lake gets very little rain; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest. Dry warm beds await you at Towneplace Suites By Marriott Denver Southwest; if you've had enough of Westcreek Lake, J O Hill Reservoir is nearby. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Westcreek Lake reach the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; during the dark hours in the winter at Westcreek Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable things to do in the Front Range.
