This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of South Platte River; Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a very magnificent site to explore. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Rule Ridge Trail, and camping at Trail Creek Campground is always a great experience. That right there is lots of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Front Range has it all. A great       spot in the neighborhood of Westcreek Lake is Shrewsbury Gulch, and going for a hike on the South Manitou Park Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Camping is available at Big Turkey Campground, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to make out at West Creek Dam close to Westcreek Lake. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Front Range. Take a side tour to Trail Creek, and after a long day outdoors Towneplace                  Suites By Marriott Denver Southwest is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Westcreek Lake. Country Lodge is a splendid location to get some rest; a good location for whitewater paddling is South Platte River. Westcreek Lake is located in the Front Range. High temperatures at Westcreek Lake during the months of summer are in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Westcreek Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. Westcreek Lake is a location that is reasonably dry mostly; through July this area sees the most rain; January is when it's the driest.
