The Sawatch Range is so good! Do stop at Deckers Lake near West Tennessee Lakes, it's a striking lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Highline Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Vail and strap some skis to your feet, and if you come at the right time of year, Homestake Creek offers some brilliant whitewater. Now, you may imagine that's a load       but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Sawatch Range. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Leadville is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and since you're here, you could also stop at charming Isolation Lakes. Around West Tennessee Lakes you don’t get a lot of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February. The summit of Galena Mountain can be seen from West Tennessee Lakes, and the Main                  Range Trail offers hiking at its best. But wait, there's more to do next to West Tennessee Lakes. For you golfers we recommend nearby MT Massive Golf Course, and do take a hike on the Fall Creek Trail. Just can't get enough of West Tennessee Lakes. West Tennessee Lakes is not far at all from Edwards, and The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch is a delightful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Eagle River, and Mary Queen Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. Through the warm months highs here at West Tennessee Lakes get into the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; night lows at West Tennessee Lakes through the winter generally sink into the 0's.
