West Pond is a lake worth visiting. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. If the weather is pleasant here at West Pond, you can go for a hike along the Spring Creek Trail; Schmidt Spring is a good local attraction. There's whitewater on Uncompahgre River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. There's so much to do here at West Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Centennial RV Park is a

| | wonderful place for that. Here at West Pond you can catch a sight of Flat Top.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Dallas Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and why not head up to Telluride and strap some skis to your feet. If you're stopping by West Pond from Montrose, you won't be the only one, and hiking along the Alder Creek Trail is delightful fun. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun | |

These mountains rock, just explore all the exciting
stuff to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. A glorious close by hotel is ResortQuest Blue Mesa Lodge, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on San Miguel River. This lake is so wonderful. West Pond is close to Beach
Canyon which is beyond doubt worth a visit, and West Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Country Village RV Ranch Park is a great local campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.
Around West Pond you don’t get a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout July, and June is when it's the driest. Summer at West Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for West Pond.
