Paddling on San Miguel River is so much fun, and going for a hike on the Weehawken Pack Trail is always a tremendous adventure. So much amusing stuff to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, not enough time. There's so much to do here at West Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Polly's Motel Car wash is a fine place for that, and why not take a little journey to Beaver Creek since you're here.       West Lake gets very little rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here, and June on the other hand is the driest. West Lake is a beautiful lake in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. At West Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for West Lake. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.                  Yeah, come here to West Lake for a tremendous time. A round of golf at nearby Fairway Pines Golf Club is a magnificent way to kill some time, and hey, Gotta ski right? Silverton is a fine site to do that. This site, the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining things. If you came to camp Timber Ridge Motel and Campground is a good site to do that; on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Blue Lakes Trail. Looking for something in the neighborhood of West Lake? Dry Lake is in close proximity, and glide down the rapids of Uncompahgre River in a kayak. Since you're here at West Lake why not have a look at Blaine Draw, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Telluride. So much fun stuff to do here at West Lake, too good to be true. At Otonowanda Dam in close proximity to West Lake there are some exciting things to see, and Billy Wood Spring is always fun to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes?
