The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to West Lake with night lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at West Lake fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Near West Lake you stumble on the Bear Peak       Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. The Mesa Trail is a magnificent hiking trail near West Lake, and unsurprisingly, this is a nice neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Plaster Reservoir is a lake close at hand. Fairfield Inn Denver North/Westminster is a good spot to get some rest; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend South Platte River. If you need a place to stay Savannah Suites Denver N is a wonderful                  choice. You'll need more than a day to explore everything West Lake has to offer, you can camp at B and B Mobile and RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. West Lake is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Delux RV Park is a perfect place to camp nearby; you're most likely addicted to lakes, Tom Frost Reservoir is one of those nearby. West Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Broadlands Golf Course, and you're sure to encounter some cheerful folks from Boulder here.
