The beauty of West Beard Reservoir is reason enough to stop by. At West Beard Reservoir through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to West Beard Reservoir. Really glorious skiing awaits you at Vail, and a brilliant location to camp here at West Beard Reservoir is Piney Crossing Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Near

| | West Beard Reservoir you find a golf course called Sonnenalp Golf Club, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Red Canyon Stock Driveway.
This lake is located in the wonderful Park Range. It is very dry here at West Beard Reservoir generally; July is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.

you can go for a hike along the Rock Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at West Beard Reservoir you can take a hike along the Cache Creek Access Trail; after a long day outdoors Park Plaza Avon is a great site
to spend a night or two.
