Weir and Johnson Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Really tremendous skiing awaits you at Powderhorn; nearby you find the High Foot Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. Just can't get enough of Weir and Johnson Reservoir. One of the major highlights of the surroundings of Weir and Johnson Reservoir is Leon Peak; the Green Mountain Trail is a glorious hiking trail close by. go to. This lake is so wonderful. You could also take a look at Sackett Reservoir since you're here at Weir and Johnson Reservoir; it's close by, and if you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a pleasant choice.
Gunnison River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the East Leon Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Weir and Johnson Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures
descend down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Weir and Johnson Reservoir dip into the 0's. Around Weir and Johnson Reservoir you don’t
