Sure, Pear Lake is right next door to Webb Lake, and the peak of Stag Mesa can be observed from Webb Lake. Webb Lake in fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. Yeah, come up here to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains for a glorious time. A perfect nearby hotel is Purgatory Village Condominium Hotel, and camping at Bear Creek Campground is always a tremendous experience. Webb Lake is wonderful enough       to spend more than a day at, Lime Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground; get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Animas River. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Kendall Mountain, and why not take a little spree to Needle Creek if you're here. Summertime highs at Webb Lake generally tend to be in the 70's, and the night is a tad colder of course, frequently in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime                  are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Webb Lake tend to be in the 0's. Webb Lake is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Hit the slopes at Silverton close by, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Whitehead Trail. It is very arid here at Webb Lake generally; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is June. This lake is so wonderful. Overlook Point is an attention-grabbing place to stop by while at Webb Lake, and after a long day outdoors Purgatory Lodge by Durango Mountain Resorts is a nice location to spend a night or two. All the outdoors fun stuff in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. A good spot for whitewater paddling near Webb Lake is Canyon Creek; there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Highline Trail. This is a fine region for folks who like lakes.
