If you like lakes and you're in this part of Colorado you can check out Waucondah Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the Missouri Gulch Trail, and float down the rapids of South Platte River in a kayak. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Front Range. While you're here at Waucondah Reservoir you can take a hike along the Winding Stairs Trail, and Waucondah Reservoir is a location with

| | many visitors from Denver-Aurora. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Bear Creek from Waucondah Reservoir is trouble-free, and why not camp at Castle Rock/Colo Springs N KOA since you're here at Waucondah Reservoir.

can go to Perry Park Country Club. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Front Range. Waucondah Reservoir is near Hog John Gulch which is certainly worth visiting; the scenery at Waucondah Dam is
gorgeous.
If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Castle Rock, Co is a wonderful choice, and camping at Waucondah Reservoir is good fun, Rock Springs Campground is a good local campground. This lake is one of the great
places here in the Front Range. Take a hike on the Long Hollow Trail, and Super 8 Motel - Castle Rock is a tremendous site to get some rest.
For the duration of the months of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Waucondah
Reservoir, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Waucondah Reservoir. Around Waucondah Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is January.
