Why not stop by Watson Lake if you're passing through these parts. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Watson Lake. Near Watson Lake you hit upon Watson Draw which is a fine site to pop by, and fine hiking is available along the Alpine Trail. | | spree to Burdeck Creek if you're here at Watson Lake, and a glorious close by hotel is Ouray Chalet Inn.
This lake is so wonderful. There are great spots to look at along the Deer Creek Trail, and Cimarron River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by. High temperatures at Watson Lake all through the summertime are in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. all through the wintertime are in the 10's. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Ouray is a nice choice; in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cimarron River.
Go for a hike on the Lou
Creek Trail. There's so much to do here at Watson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cimarron Campground is a splendid spot for that. Everybody loves Wells Basin. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Watson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Big Cimarron Campground. This lake is so wonderful.
