Watson Lake, Front Range, Larimer County, Colorado

User input for Watson Lake, Front Range, Larimer County, Colorado:

Grateful Fisherman:
Watson is beautiful. You do need a wilderness habitat stamp to be there, but that is included with your fishing license. It is closed to boating, except float tubes. The river (poudre) runs along the east side of the lake so even for casual recreation or non fishing activities it is a picteresque spot. There are two handicapped/wheelchair accessible fishing docks, and the trail by the river is also wheelchair friendly.
