This lake is so wonderful. This is a splendid vicinity for folks who like lakes. North Fork Reservoir is a lake close by, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Waterdog Lakes; Coyote Park Trail is a brilliant local trail. Garfield Campground is a nice campground nearby; don't miss out on a spree to Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park while you're here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sawatch Range. Don't       leave Waterdog Lakes without first going for a hike along the Fooses Creek Trail, and possibly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Hunt Lake is just a very short distance away. From Waterdog Lakes you acquire a brilliant vista of Bald Mountain, and Monarch Park Campground is a delightful local campground. Through the summertime at Waterdog Lakes highs are commonly in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 30's.
