Camping at Garfield Campground is always a great experience; Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park is a very great location to stop by. After a long day outdoors Buena Vista Super 8 Motel is a fine spot to spend a night or two,       and the Fooses Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Sawatch Range, not enough time. Waterdog Lakes is good enough to spend more than a day at, Monarch Park Campground is a good local campground, and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Hunt Lake is just a very short distance away. The Sawatch Range scenery is always beautiful. Waterdog Lakes is a location that is relatively dried                  up generally; most of the rain falls all through August, and June is when it's the driest. Be careful coming to Waterdog Lakes, you might not ever wanna return home again. Bald Mountain is a peak you can observe from Waterdog Lakes; do take a hike on the Coyote Park Trail.
