If you are in Eagle county it's always a good idea to stop by Waterdog Lake. While you're here at Waterdog Lake you can take a hike along the Nottingham Ridge Trail. Waterdog Lake is not far at all from Edwards, and if you get bored of Waterdog Lake you could also go to nearby Beaver Lake. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Park Range is unbeatable! You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the area near Waterdog Lake has to offer. Going for a hike along the Half Moon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Cross Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Park Range. Dry warm beds await you at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort And Spa; a pleasant
location to camp here at Waterdog Lake is Learning Camp. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Eagle River, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along
the Fall Creek Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Park Range.
Not much rainfall falls here at Waterdog Lake; the month with most of the rain is July; the driest of the months is February. All through the warm days of
summer here at Waterdog Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; overnight lows in the 0's for Waterdog Lake.
