All through the warmest time of the year at Waterdog Lake highs are ordinarily in the 60's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Waterdog Lake are in the 0's. A great close by hotel is Branding Iron Motel, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Red Lake Trail. Waterdog Lake is a wet site that gets       a good deal of rainfall; most of the snow falls through March while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You have to undeniably dedicate some time to First Meadows while you're here at Waterdog Lake; paddling on Rio de los Pinos is so much fun. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Waterdog Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Spectacle Lake Campground is a delightful location to camp, and whitewater paddling is                  delightful on Conejos River. This lake is so wonderful. Narrow Gauge RR Inn is a good location to get some rest. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Lakes are splendid; Duck Lake is a lake that's close to Waterdog Lake, and obviously South Elk Creek flows through this region. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Waterdog Lake, you'll find Rock Lake which is a beautiful lake, and the Notch Trail offers hiking at its best. You simply should adore the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
