Do stop by Warren Lake while you're in this part of Colorado. The slopes of Aspen Mountain are so inviting noone can resist; Tagert Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Chateau Roaring Fork by ResortQuest is a wonderful location to get some rest; whitewater paddling is delightful on Roaring Fork.

| | thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Warren Lake, you could also go to beautiful Warren Lakes, and Weller Lake Campground is a good campground nearby. Any time is a tremendous time at Warren Lake if you like the outdoors. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Chapman Trail, and if you're a golfer then a brilliant close by course is Aspen Golf Course.

Beautiful drive up to Lede Reservoir. We started in Eagle and took Sylvan Lake road all the way past the lake and then took a right at the first intersection. After climbing up and around the peak in front of us we were upon some huge rolling meadows that were among the forrests. A slight drop down into the valley on the west side of the mountains and a left turn lead us to the reservoir. It is a great spot with some fishing paths around the water and a number of campsites as well. We continued west to Gypsum Creek Road and a short drive back to the town of Gypsum.... |

We've camped here since our now 40ish childrlen were young. They are now taking their children there. Mosca is beautiful both to the eye and the heart. It is a little more difficult now that there is no potable water, but one can use lake water for dishes, and must bring in drinking and cooking water.Fishing is great - the deer put on a show eve4ry night. The camp hostess, Mary, is there is to help you with problems, and to give great advice.Other than the water problem, this is the greatest camp ground I've ever occupied!... |
