Cache La Poudre River is a great whitewater spot next to Warren Lake, and why not go to Sherwood Dam while you're here. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Fort Collins Country Club Golf; after a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Ft.Collins is a great place to spend a night or two. All through the summer months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Warren Lake with nighttime lows in the       50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Warren Lake are in the 10's. Don't forget to take a great little visit to Mail Creek, and do go to Sherwood Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake. Don't leave Warren Lake without first going for a hike along the Round Mountain Trail, and a lovely lake like Nelson Reservoir is a good place to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Warren Lake                  is Pawnee - Arapaho National Forest; if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Thompson River. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Arapaho Bay - Arapaho National Forest since you're here at Warren Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites FT. COLLINS. This place is excellent, just check out all the enjoyable things to do close to Warren Lake. Go for a hike on the Jug Trail, and you'll meet a lot of people from Fort Collins-Loveland here. Warren Lake is pretty arid commonly; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
