Warner Reservoir Number 5 is located in the San Juan Mountains. Very scenic scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Kendall Mountain, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Highline Trail. After
a long day outdoors Cascade Village is a great site to spend a night or two; why not have a look at nearby Bear Creek if you're here at Warner Reservoir Number 5. Just can't get enough of the San Juan Mountains. There are plenty
of people from Durango here at Warner Reservoir Number 5, and hey, Gotta ski right? Silverton is a brilliant location to do that. High temperatures at Warner Reservoir Number 5 all through the warm days of summer are in the 70's.
For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Warner Reservoir Number 5 drop into the 0's. Durango Koa Kampground is a glorious campground here, and whitewater paddling is great on Canyon Creek.
