Ward Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. If you came to camp South Park Mobile Home Park is a good spot to do that, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Denver Southwest is a nice choice. At Ward Reservoir through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Beaver Brook Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bear Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
